Paul and Wesley Brock joined me on this trip. They followed the long trip back from Tikapur with a gratifying drive to Agra the next day to see the Taj Mahal.

October 2010 Trip: By Marian Noronha
Floods in Northern India damaged a lot of roads. Our visit to India coincided with the Commonwealth Games, and there was a flurry of activity in Delhi to put on a good face for the world, in spite of the floods and water problems in parts of Delhi. Roads outside Delhi suffered from lack of attention. The drive to Tikapur from Delhi took 18 hours, and the return took 20 hours.
